Mobil DTE Oil Named Series lubricants are formulated from highly refined base stocks and an additive system which provide an extremely high level of chemical and thermal stability, rapid and complete separation from water and a high resistance to emulsification. They provide excellent protection against rust and corrosion, including resistance to salt water, and good antiwear properties. They have a high viscosity index which ensures minimum variation of film thickness with temperature and minimum power loss during the warm up period. These grades have excellent air release properties which allow entrained air to separate, thus avoiding pump cavitation and erratic operation.

Mobil DTE Oil 205 is a lubricating oil formulated to provide excellent anti-wear and friction-reducing properties for compressor cylinder lubrication as well as protection against rust and corrosion.  Mobil DTE Oil 205 is designed for wet-gas compression and exhibits excellent resistance to washing by water and other entrained liquids.  It resists oxidation and provides effective lubrication at low feed rates, thereby extending operating periods between valve-cleaning intervals.

 

ApplicationsL

Mobil DTE Oil 205 lubricant is recommended for the cylinder lubrication of reciprocating compressors and special rotary sliding vane compressors in air and inert gas service. It is particularly applicable where wet gas is being compressed. While developed primarily for multistage compressors, its superior qualities will provide benefits in many single- and two-stage compressors operating at higher pressures or discharge temperatures or when compressing wet gas.

Mobil DTE Oil 205 is not designed for use in compressor crankcases, particularly those compressors having high lead bearings, or crankshafts fitted with lead counterweights.

It should not be used when compressing air for breathing.

The Mobil DTE™  Oil Named Series of lubricants are premium performance circulating lubricants designed for applications including steam and hydro turbine sets and other systems where long lubricant service life is required. Mobil DTE Oil Named Series lubricants are formulated from highly refined base stocks and an additive system which provide an extremely high level of chemical and thermal stability, rapid and complete separation from water and a high resistance to emulsification. They provide excellent protection against rust and corrosion, including resistance to salt water, and good antiwear properties. They have a high viscosity index which ensures minimum variation of film thickness with temperature and minimum power loss during the warm up period. These grades have excellent air release properties which allow entrained air to separate, thus avoiding pump cavitation and erratic operation.

Mobil DTE Oil Named are the lubricants of choice for many users because of their reputation for long life, excellent equipment protection and outstanding versatility in the wide variety of industrial applications. DTE Oil Named lubricants are used widely in steam turbines and hydro turbines with splash, bath and ring-oiling arrangements, and all other continuous circulation methods involving pumps, valves and ancillary equipment. This product series is recommended for continuous service in the lubrication of plain and rolling bearings and parallel shaft gearing. The Mobil DTE 10 Excel Series is constructed from selected base oils and a proprietary additive system to provide well-balanced performance in a range of applications.  The products exhibit outstanding oxidation and thermal stability allowing long oil life and minimized deposit formation in severe hydraulic systems using high pressure, high output pumps.  The innovative ultra keep clean performance protects critical hydraulic system components from malfunction, such as tight tolerance servo and proportional valves found in many modern hydraulic systems.    Outstanding air release properties provide an added measure of protection in systems with low residence time helping to prevent cavitation damage and micro dieseling.  The carefully selected base oil and additives allow passing results of acute aquatic toxicity testing (LC-50, OECD 203) and the zinc free anti-wear system provides a high degree of protection in gear, vane and piston pumps while also minimizing deposit formation.

Formulated with extensive laboratory and in-service field testing, the Mobil DTE 10 Excel series can help provide quantifiable increases in hydraulic efficiency compared to other Mobil™ hydraulic oils.  This can translate to reduced power consumption or increased machine output, resulting in monetary savings. 

In controlled laboratory efficiency testing, Mobil DTE 10 Excel was measured to provide up to a six percent improvement in hydraulic pump efficiency compared to Mobil DTE 20 when operating in standard hydraulic applications.

In additional laboratory and in-service field demonstrations conducted on a wide range of modern hydraulic systems, the Mobil DTE 10 Excel series demonstrated, compared to Mobil conventional hydraulic fluids, exceptional oil life, outlasting these fluids by up to three times, while maintaining outstanding hydraulic system cleanliness and component protection.  Mobil DTE 10 Excel also demonstrated the value of its high viscosity index and outstanding shear stability by operating successfully in temperatures as low as -34°C and by maintaining ISO viscosity grade.

The Mobil DTE™  Oil Named Series of lubricants are premium performance circulating lubricants designed for applications including steam and hydro turbine sets and other systems where long lubricant service life is required. Mobil DTE Oil Named Series lubricants are formulated from highly refined base stocks and an additive system which provide an extremely high level of chemical and thermal stability, rapid and complete separation from water and a high resistance to emulsification. Mobil DTE FM Series oils are high performance lubricants designed to satisfy a wide range of multi-use equipment requirements for the food processing and packaging industry. These lubricants are qualified as NSF H1 type lubricants and also comply with Title 21 CFR 178.3570 by the Food and Drug Administration (USA) for use where there is the potential for incidental food contact. Mobil DTE FM Series are manufactured at ISO 22000 certified facilities that also meet the requirements of ISO 21469 helping to ensure that the highest levels of product integrity are maintained.The lubricants are tasteless, odourless, premium quality lubricants formulated with non-toxic NSF/FDA food grade additives and base oils. The additive system provides good wear protection, excellent oxidation stability and protection against rust. The Mobil DTE(TM) Oil Named Series of lubricants are premium performance circulating lubricants designed for applications including steam and hydro turbine sets and other systems where long lubricant service life is required. Mobil DTE Oil Named Series lubricants are formulated from highly refined base stocks and an additive system which provide an extremely high level of chemical and thermal stability, rapid and complete separation from water and a high resistance to emulsification. They provide excellent protection against rust and corrosion, including resistance to salt water, and good antiwear properties. They have a high viscosity index which ensures minimum variation of film thickness with temperature and minimum power loss during the warm up period. These grades have excellent air release properties which allow entrained air to separate, thus avoiding pump cavitation and erratic operation.
